Born and raised in Columbus, Zack Lee has been shaped by the people, neighborhoods, and everyday experiences that make this city home. His commitment to public service comes from lived experience and a belief that Columbus grows stronger when leaders stay connected to the community they represent.

As a director, filmmaker, and photographer, Zack has built a successful creative career through his own production company. He has spent years creating work that requires vision, planning, discipline, and collaboration. Leading creative teams taught him how to manage projects from concept to completion, make thoughtful decisions under pressure, and bring diverse voices together to accomplish a shared goal. These skills now guide his approach to leadership and community problem solving.

He understands the realities facing Columbus families because he has lived through the same challenges. Zack knows what it feels like when neighborhoods lack resources, when safety becomes a concern, and when communities do not feel heard. That perspective fuels his commitment to advocate for solutions that make everyday life better.
